Mizu Arc

Pondle privacy policy

Effective 14 October 2026

This policy explains what information the Pondle app ("the app") made by Mizu Arc ("we", "us") handles, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@mizuarc.com.

The short version

Information stored on your device

Completed levels, stars, times, hints used, your daily streak, unlocked koi, your nickname and avatar, and your settings (sound, language, theme and so on) are saved in a file on your phone. To choose a language automatically, the app reads the phone's language and the country of your mobile network or SIM card; this stays on the phone. It is not your location.

Daily leaderboard (Unity Gaming Services)

To show the Daily puzzle leaderboard, the app signs in anonymously to Unity Gaming Services, provided by Unity Technologies. This creates a random player ID; no email or name is needed. When you finish the Daily puzzle, we send your score with your in-game nickname, avatar, time, moves and hints used. Other players can see your nickname, avatar and score. Unity processes this data for us; see Unity's privacy policy.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and in some US states), the app shows Google's consent form before personalised ads are used. You can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases (Google Play)

"Remove ads" is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card details. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase so the app can remove ads, also after you reinstall ("Restore purchases").

Children

Pondle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep data

Data on your phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Daily leaderboard entries are kept while the leaderboard runs, and are removed when you delete your account.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account and data. This deletes your online player account and leaderboard entries, and resets the app on your phone. You can also email us; see how to delete your data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. Email support@mizuarc.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data sent to Unity and Google is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
